Tap to Pay is coming to Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft is bringing Tap to Pay and Wallet 2.0 to Windows 10 Mobile in its coming anniversary update. The anniversary update is hoped to roll out sometimes this summer and is expected to bring a lot of improvement in Windows 10 Mobile. 

Through Wallet 2.0, users can add there Credit and Debit cars and can use the NFC feature to pay in retail stores with NFC-compatible payment terminals. As of now, the Tap to Pay is available for U.S. users only, and Microsoft has released a list of merchants that will support this features. The list includes Barnes & Noble, CVS, Office Depot, Petco, Safeway, Walgreens and some more. 

The beta app is currently available to selected Insiders who have joined the fast ring. The linking of a new card will be a simple process with filling out forms or scanning them and then receiving a message verification code.
