Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile updated

Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile

Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile gets a new update today allowing the users to upload photos from folders other than Camera Roll. It was really a frustrating thing to always move the images to camera roll folder through File Manager if the picture you want to download has been in other folders.

Most of the time, it's not you but your friends who click the pictures and send you through WhatsApp. The picture is then downloaded to Saved Pictures folder and you have to drag it to camera roll if you wished to upload it on Instagram. This issue has been fixed with the new Instagram update for Windows 10 Mobile.

The update is from the version 8 to 8.482.64999.0 and includes bug fixes.

The current Instagram app is an iOS port and looks and feel very much like the iOS app. Though, it's good to see Instagram app getting regular updates. Instagram had a beta app for Windows phone earlier for more than a year, and app is getting refined before the upcoming anniversary update.

If you have still not updated, head to Windows Store in your phone, check for Downloads and Updates, and download the latest update for Instagram app. The update is of 43 mb size.
