WhatsApp for Windows Phone updated

The much popular messaging WhatsApp has updated itself for Windows Phone platform allowing sharing of pdf files and trimming of videos before sending. Also, it introduces the progress bar that shows while downloading videos allowing you guess the estimated time of download. This comes a sigh of relief to Windows Users since the WhatsApp has decided to completely neglect the Blackberry users and the update brings a positive vibe that Windows Phone is still relevant.

The file sharing feature has already been introduced to Android users and at present is limited to only pdf file sharing to Windows users.

With over 1 billion users, the Facebook owned WhatsApp has  been constantly trying to improve its services and this comes as a great news for Windows Phone users. With Windows 10 Mobile launch, Windows store has seen several updates to those apps which have been sitting dormant for a long time. The popular apps like Skype, Instagram and now WhatsApp has been updated and recently we also heard that Bank of America is introducing a new app for Windows Phone. This comes as a surprise for a platform that only accounts to less 2% of market share. What Microsoft needs is more such updated and launches to boost this.

Have you updated yet?
