In case you have got a Windows Phone and you yourself has changed the display language to some alien language accidently (or your child has done that, maybe), these are the steps you may try to reach to Settings and change the display language to your preferred one. This article is written with a Windows Phone 8.1 Denim updated Lumia 625 and perhaps you will find the same steps for your device.

Step 1: Swipe left from your homescreen to see the App list. Now locate the Settings option. If you can't find it, try to search the Gears icon in the list as shown in the pic. Tap to open it.

Step 2: Once you open Settings, locate the date+time option. The best way to recognize it is to see the option with the timezone. In this pic, you can clearly see the timezone as UTC + 05:30. You have do nothing about it though, tap on the second option after it, that's the language option we are looking for.

Step 3: Once you will open it, there is a + add language sign. Tap on it, to get the list of languages from which you can select the one which you understand. Once you will check mark the language, your device will ask to download it if the language pack is already not downloaded. After the download, you will need to restart your phone.
